The carnal church does not believe in Jesus; for it the congregation where the desires of the flesh and mind reign. It is that congregation that ministers to the sinful desire of the mind. The mind of man desires to remain in sin and transgressions. The human mind desire to be pleasurized by lascivious and licentious behavior. Sin and transgressions cater to the evil desires of the human mind. The desire of the human mind is an enemy of Jesus. The conversation of the carnal concerns itself with divers uncleanness; despise divine order, presumptuous, self willed, not afraid to speak evil of angels, apostles, and prophets. They like Sodom and Gomorrah, have given themselves over to fornication, and strange sexual practices; and like them, they will also suffer the vengeance of eternal fire. Jesus said, except one leaves his own evil desire, to believe in his revelation, he cannot be his disciple. Jesus said, the true disciple of truth will pick up his own cross and follow Him. In Jesus there is safety from the wrath and judgment of God against sin. The scripture says: \”Cast out the \”church\” given over to satisfying the rebellious desires of the mind. For the rebellious mind shall not be heir with the Jesus and His body the Christian Church. The body of Christ is not a body of sin, but a body of the gift and the grace of God.

As I continue to seek God\’s direction in my life, he is guiding me. In many cases, the answers are subtle, yet also in many cases, the answers and outcome are truly amazing. While there have been no burning bushes, there have certainly been many doors slammed and others opened. Many, who I call \”angels\”, came to my aid when I needed help.

Where there is truth you will find freedom for the truth is liberating. Conversely, where there is bondage, slavery and people lording over others there is no truth but only lies. Truth stands like a beacon on a hill requiring little or no explanation. Even the American founding fathers said in the Declaration of Independence: \”We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.\”

Truth is self-evident and it is only through truth that the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness can occur. The alternative of lies, half-truths and trickery can only bring bondage, unhappiness and ultimately death. It was against this background that the Declaration was framed and the subsequent actions including war were taken. You must also understand that there are no degrees of truth. There is no such thing as a half-truth or something being partially true. Either a matter is true or it is not. Indeed a half-truth is worse than an out and out lie because a person can be swayed into believing something false because part of what is presented is true.

Romans 15:4 says, \”For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.\” The Scriptures also have words of wisdom to heed if we worry or think too much about the future.

Truth does not flatter and does not seek advantage. It doesn\’t need to. Only lies and liars need to be bolstered in such a way, as the purpose of a lie is to gain an unfair advantage. So when you find yourself in a situation and are unsure whether what is being presented is truth or lies, ask yourself, \”Will this liberate or bind me?\” If the answer is bondage then it is not the truth for as Jesus said, \”The truth will make you free.
