A hitching rail is provided for the horses and those who brought tethers have staked out an area for their horses to munch on the local grass.

This place was chosen for the saddle club meeting because just around the cliff side is a natural waterfall that fills a pond nearly half the size of a football field. After everyone has enjoy the cook out and roasting marshmallows, they mount up on the horses riding bareback and head for the water. The horses especially like to swim and the riders hang onto the thick manes.
