Animals are a great joy to many people who take a lot of pride in tending to the needs of their pets. Providing them a clean dry place to live is just as important as making sure they have plenty of water, food and exercise. Horses have some additional needs that can be managed by the use of horse mats that help maintain health and cleanliness of the horse stables.
For an equestrian, it is always a good time to go horseback riding, but there are horse stalls to keep clean before the fun can begin. A good way to manage having more time to ride, is to keep each of the horse stalls equipped with horse mats that not only help keep them dry, but fight back fungus and disease.
Now it is time to groom the horses and get ready for a day of fun going riding, and the stalls are nice and clean. There is something about the harmony involved in galloping off into the wind as it blows the horses mane in your face. Off and down the hill to the neighbors where the rest of the saddle club is to meet.
Trail rides are a great way to spend time with friends, and learn new ways of doing things. Loading up the horses to go try out a new horseback riding trail fills you with the excitement of adventure, while you are glad you got those new horse mats for inside the horse trailer. They certainly help give the horses better footing.
Arriving at the intended destination, everyone unloads their horses and saddles up for the weekend ahead. There are many different types of saddles and bridles and the jingle of metal, be it spurs or bits, helps add to the atmosphere of what fun lies ahead. The other riders have an assortment of horse breeds, and each of them in different sizes.
In unison, the riders rein their mounts in the direction of the woods, and moments later they grab for leather as the horses spook at the dark opening to a cave. Everyone laughs and there are cheers and shouts as the horses settle down and get back on the trail.
After several hours of riding, and enjoying the fresh air, and smell of mother earth, a large clearing appears with picnic tables and a rock fireplace that is intended for cooking out. A hitching rail is provided for the horses and those who brought tethers have staked out an area for their horses to munch on the local grass.
This place was chosen for the saddle club meeting because just around the cliff side is a natural waterfall that fills a pond nearly half the size of a football field. After everyone has enjoy the cook out and roasting marshmallows, they mount up on the horses riding bareback and head for the water. The horses especially like to swim and the riders hang onto the thick manes.
